Laundry Folding Table

Crafted in the "farmhouse" style, this laundry folding table is made of solid persimmon. The table top panel includes a rare piece that includes heartwood. Black in color, most persimmon trees don't live long enough to develop heartwood.

The "X" legs are half-lap joints, with a live mortise and tenon joint through the center. They are secured to the base and top with live mortise and tenons. The stretcher is dovetailed to the top of the leg bases. The stretcher supports are secured at 45 degree angles with oak dowels.

The table measures 61 inches long by 24 inches wide and 31 inches tall.
